Salary: £44,818.21 inclusive of £3,000 in allowances per annum.
+ an additional 5% in recognition of shift and weekend working (once passed probation)

We are seeking a dedicated Electrician to join our team at HMP Bullingdon, a category B male prison.

HMP Bullingdon operates like a self-contained city, requiring hundreds of staff to maintain its functions. As part of the Facilities Maintenance Team, your work will impact prisoners, staff, visitors, and the wider community, ensuring smooth and safe operations.
Role Responsibilities
Work alongside experienced colleagues including Plumbers, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators, all committed to providing a safe environment.

Candidate Requirements
- At least two years\’ experience as an electrician
- Experience with commercial or industrial electrical systems
- Knowledge of planned preventive maintenance
- Qualified to C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent
- 17th or 18th Edition wiring regulations
- Certificate in BS7671
- Good Health & Safety knowledge
- Strong organizational and people skills
