Job Description:
Summary
The team is responsible for delivering and managing functions including Building Information Modelling and Digital Twin processes, document and information management for capital projects, and space and property management across the university.
The post holder will oversee data within the Common Data Environment (CDE), ensure effective document control, lead benchmarking activities, and conduct spatial analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.
Main Duties
Building Information Modelling and Information Management
- Develop information management processes and review data quality and enhancements
- Ensure collaboration on the CDE and support information processing workflows
- Analyze and present large data sets to inform decision-making
- Support UoB BIM Requirements and suggest improvements
- Manage and audit BIM models at each RIBA stage
- Facilitate project O&M information delivery into the CDE
- Optimize data systems for reporting and management
Systems and Information
- Manage data and system integration projects
- Create project management plans
- Establish success indicators and stakeholder relationships
- Deliver project outputs on time and within budget
Space
- Manage annual space validation
- Design dashboards and models for decision-making
- Manage space data in RVT models and CAFM
People Management
- Manage staff and create a motivating environment
- Line management for BIM Coordinator and Data Analyst
General
