Learning and Development Lead £32,109 – £35,677 Fareham Permanent, Full Time Working Hours: Mon-Thurs – 09:00-17:00; Fri – 09:00-16:30 We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning and Development Lead to join us to deliver and develop our learning and development programme, aligned to our organisation’s objectives. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your main responsibilities will include: * Implement and deliver our learning and development strategy * Track, analyse, and take accountability for our learning and development performance indicators * Produce timely management reports * Actively identify and deliver training needs, through consultation as required * Ensure our management development programme delivers a comprehensive framework for developing our managers * Negotiate partner contracts, and build and maintain relationships with third-party training providers * Manage our learning and development systems * Continually review and develop course content * Line manage the learning and development administrator, coaching and supporting them with their day-to-day role and development * Own and develop our learning and development policies to ensure they are in line with current legislation and support our working practices, with support from the human resources manager Our ideal candidate: * Proven experience as a learning and development professional * Experience implementing training programmes * A qualification or certification would be advantageous * Experience of compiling management information and working to performance indicators * Experience of managing others * Familiarity with e-learning platforms and learning management systems * Experience in managing projects and budgets * Understanding of training trends and developments in learning technologies * Ability to track the performance of training reports and contribute to strategies for staff engagement and improvement * Excellent communication and negotiation skills * Proficient in Microsoft 365, particularly Teams and SharePoint Additional Requirements * Basic disclosure and barring service check is a requirement for this role.
