The Job:
You will be carrying out the Installations and remediations of Fire Doors and Passive fire products in accordance with the manufacture technical guidance and latest British and EN standards on small and large projects works within your capabilities across the UK, ensuring all works are to a high standard within Health & Safety and Quality company requirements.

- Minimum of 3 years experience in a like for like or similar role.
- Must have a good understanding of third-party accreditation requirements in this field
- A driven and enthusiastic individual that relish’s a challenging environment, who can work under pressure and works well in a team environment or on their own.
Responsibilities
- To conduct the installation and remediation of fire doors to manufacturer\’s guidance and in line with our IFC third-party accreditation.
- To record the installation and refurbishment of the fire door(s) via reporting software, confirming that the door meets with manufacturer\’s and installation parameters.
- To assist in compliant repair and maintenance work strictly in accordance with manufacturer guidance and BS8214.
- Working to surveys, third-party specifications, risk assessment requirements, insurance, and local authority notices.
- Working alone and as part of a team.
- Ensuring safe transportation of door sets from the manufacturer or depot to the site.
- Maintain a safe working environment in accordance with our Health and Safety system
- Demonstrate an understanding and commitment to Customer Care.
- Assist in the application of Passive fire stopping, practical experience advantageous
- Manual handling of fire doors to and from the area of installation, ensuring the safety of all individuals in the area
- Removal of redundant fire doors for disposal
- Ensuring the work area and storage area are always clean and tidy
