About the role
The role of Senior Electrical Engineer / Senior Manufacturing Engineer is for a forward-thinking individual who wants to be challenged every day. To be a successful Senior Electrical Manufacturing Engineer you will need the ability to take complex problems and form solutions that meet quality standards in a multitude of sectors that include Defence, Aerospace and Nuclear, just to name a few. Responsibilities include:
- Taking client briefs and creating bespoke solutions with a quality-first attitude
- Draw up support documentation for quotations such as system schematics, marking up drawings for cable assembly designs
- Ensure the customer receives the quote and any necessary support in a timely manner
- Creating detailed work instructions and drawings for the production team
- Production of test procedures
- Support the sales team by answering technical queries or investigating and solving technical issues
About you
To be successful for the role of Senior Electrical Engineer / Senior Manufacturing Engineer it is essential that you have:
- BEng or MEng or time Served Electrical Engineer
- A solid fundamental understanding of electrical engineering
- The ability to do calculations (load/drop)
- Experience in running a project of any size (no formal qualification needed)
- Design for Manufacture experience
- Worked within a tightly regulated industry such as Defence, Aerospace, Nuclear
