Our client is a highly reputable planning consultant looking for a Town Planner at Senior/Principal level to join their team in Edinburgh. The company is a small, established, and expanding consultancy where their team is genuinely valued. The role will be on a hybrid working basis and the successful candidate will be working on and leading a diverse range and scale of projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Developing the company’s client base and enhancing the company’s reputation.
- Managing caseloads for various types of planning applications, with an emphasis on the renewable energy sector.
- Proactively working on a range of planning applications and appeals.
- Building relationships with new and existing clients.
- Having good knowledge of the Scottish planning system.
- Being a member of the RTPI with an accredited degree in Town Planning (candidates eligible for RTPI membership will also be considered).
- Possessing 5+ years’ experience in the industry.
