Our client is a highly reputable planning consultant looking for a Town Planner at Senior/Principal level to join their team in Edinburgh. The company is a small, established, and expanding consultancy where their team is genuinely valued. The role will be on a hybrid working basis and the successful candidate will be working on and leading a diverse range and scale of projects.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Developing the company’s client base and enhancing the company’s reputation.
  2. Managing caseloads for various types of planning applications, with an emphasis on the renewable energy sector.
  3. Proactively working on a range of planning applications and appeals.
  4. Building relationships with new and existing clients.
  5. Having good knowledge of the Scottish planning system.
  6. Being a member of the RTPI with an accredited degree in Town Planning (candidates eligible for RTPI membership will also be considered).
  7. Possessing 5+ years’ experience in the industry.
