Job Description:

Salary £35,000 – £50,000 DOE Vacancy type Permanent Categories Building Surveying

We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Building Surveyor to join a dynamic and growing Newcastle based team. The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects across the residential and commercial sectors, including acquisition surveys, defect inspections, dilapidations, and project work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct residential and commercial property acquisition surveys
  • Prepare schedules of dilapidations and conditions
  • Manage projects, including scheduling works and tendering
  • Write detailed and accurate reports
  • Communicate effectively with clients and advise on defects and repairs
  • Work with a range of building styles, including listed buildings
  • Requirements:

  • A minimum 2:1 degree in Building Surveying
  • MRICS (depending on the level of position applied for)
  • Strong understanding of building construction
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Commercial awareness and ability to network
  • Residential and commercial building surveying experience (depending on experience level)
