Automation Maintenance Engineer – Sittingbourne £41,000-£46,000 | Depending on experience 22 days holiday + BH | Bonuses | Employee Assistance Program A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Automation Maintenance Engineer to join a UK known drain manufacturer in the Sittingbourne area! With no day ever being the same the Automation Maintenance Engineer will be working within an exciting and innovative industry that offers genuine long term progression. Role & Responsibilities: Carry out regular/routine servicing on all machinery to ensure quality and machine efficiency are maintained. Tool change the automatic machinery when required to follow the production planning schedule. Monitor the performance of machinery in the department and maintain detailed maintenance records for each machine. Monitor and adjust the automation machinery to ensure the efficiency of the machine and ensure bag length, artworks and quantities are in line with company specifications. Monitor automatic bagging machines and ensure that the correct size bag is manufactured for each product produced. Ensure that a stock of essential spare parts is maintained on site to reduce downtime caused by breakdowns. Oversee contractors working on machinery in the Automation or Production department.Maintenance of the Automation and Production departments to include: Automation Assembly Cast Iron Spray-Shop Fabrication Department FloFit Production Department Regrind Department Injection moulding machinery and all associated ancillary equipment including all conveyors.Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Proven Injection Moulding experience. Relevant apprenticeship or have proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer. Enjoy working in a busy environment where you can roll your sleeves up and get hands-on.
