We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician/Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading distribution business at London Gateway Port. This is an exciting engineering opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced and rapidly expanding environment. The Electrical Engineer\’s role will be to ensure the smooth operation of electrical systems within a large-scale logistics facility.
Skills Required for the Electrical Technician:
- Recognised electrical qualification (Min NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds Level 3)
- Experience with electrical maintenance, installations, and fault-finding.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
- Ability to carry out maintenance on Inverters
- Experience with PLC Systems – Fault Finding
- MUST BE COMFORTABLE WORKING AT HEIGHTS.
Duties of the Electrical Technician:
- Electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations within a technically advanced environment.
- Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults to minimise downtime.
- Ensuring engineering compliance with electrical safety standards.
- Working on three-phase systems and a variety or large machinery.
