£36,000 or £40,000 FTE for shortened week
9am – 5pm Monday – Friday or 12:30pm Friday finish

We’re looking for a Finance & Operations Manager to work within a varied role, in a small, close-knit team. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established business that’s been thriving for over 25 years in the logistics sector. This would suit a finance professional with some operations experience or strong organisational skills.
The Role
· Managing sales and hire invoicing, tracking and allocating costs
· Preparing lease and rental agreements
· Handling asset finance documentation
· Producing monthly cash flow forecasts (minimum 3 months ahead)
· Bank reconciliations and credit control
· Processing supplier payments and liaising with customers
· Coordinating quarterly VAT returns (liaising with accountants)
· Management accounts and supporting year-end accounts
· Using Xero, Microsoft Access, and Excel daily
The Person
· Proven finance experience up to management accounts level
· Confident with Xero and Excel
· Strong organisational and administrative skills
· Able to work independently with minimal supervision
· Clear, professional written and verbal communication
· Friendly, approachable, and great with customers and suppliers
