As a contract role based in Luton, you will be instrumental in driving the people strategy to support the overall business plan. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the Employee Relations agenda in partnership with relevant advisory teams
  • Coach and develop People Managers in various aspects of people management
  • Manage headcount requirements in partnership with Finance, OD, and talent acquisition teams
  • Shape and deliver the reward agenda for specified functional areas
  • Drive the talent agenda; ensure the development and delivery of training interventions

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in supporting a large, diverse workforce
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Experience working with trade unions or employee forums
  • Confidence in fast-paced environments with strong prioritisation skills
  • Ability to provide pragmatic solutions to new scenarios
  • Detailed knowledge of UK employment law
  • Experience supporting non-UK or European activities is highly desirable
  • Ability to liaise with employees at all levels
  • Resilient with the ability to work under pressure
  • Proven track record of influencing and building strong relationships
  • Commercial acumen demonstrating the value of HR interventions
  • CIPD qualification is desirable
