Special Needs Teaching Assistant Start date: Immediate Learning Support Assistant needed for SEND School. Are you an experienced LSA looking for a new challenge? Do you want the opportunity to enrich the lives of children with Special Needs? The school is based in the Stafford area and offers an alternative curriculum to students aged 11-16 who are unable to attend mainstream education. The school is seeking a positive, enthusiastic LSA to start with immediate effect. Working with students who have autism, ASD, ADHD and display challenging behaviour so exceptional behaviour management skills are a must. The role will include: Assisting the teacher with classroom preparation Work with pupil who requires additional support Leading group work Helping the class teacher with pupil observations As a SEND Teaching Assistant through TeacherActive you will receive: Competitive rates of pay Support from a dedicated team of consultants An excellent referral scheme *Terms and Conditions apply* Access to a range of unique positions in our schools The role is a temporary role with the chance to go permanent for the right person. You must be available and looking for full time work, Mon – Fri 8.30-3.30.
