  • What You\’ll Be Doing:

  • Carrying out lab testing on raw materials and formulations to assess quality and performance
  • Supporting product development projects (NPD/EPD) from concept to launch
  • Using analytical chemistry techniques such as GC, spectroscopy, and wet chemistry methods
  • Helping to develop and maintain testing methods
  • Learning to calibrate, validate, and maintain analytical instruments
  • Ensuring lab documentation and data recording are accurate and compliant
  • Following Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and supporting lab hygiene, safety, and COSHH compliance
  • Working cross-functionally with QA, Production, and external clients
  • Getting involved in exciting R&D initiatives to drive innovation

    A degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry, Food Science, or a related technical subject

  • A hands-on, practical mindset with a strong interest in lab-based work
  • A desire to learn and grow within a commercial lab setting
  • An analytical thinker with excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Confident communicator who can work well both independently and in a team
  • Familiarity with basic lab safety, documentation, and good working practices
  • Any prior lab or analytical experience (e.g. from a placement or internship) is welcome, but not essential
