Our client, a long-established engineering manufacturer, is looking for a Buyer / Expeditor to join their busy Supply Chain Team. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you\’ll be responsible for purchasing materials and parts, and ensuring on-time delivery to meet production schedules. Key Responsibilities Place purchase orders for materials and spare parts Build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure best pricing, quality, and OTD Expedite orders to minimise disruption to production and spares teams Manage stock levels, obsolete stock, and maintain min/max levels Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives in the Supply Chain Team Support the implementation and transition to a new ERP system Communicate supply issues promptly to colleaguesWhat We\’re Looking For Experience in Buying or Supply Chain within manufacturing or engineering Strong negotiation and supplier management skills ERP experience – involvement in an implementation is a big plus Proactive, energetic, and motivated approach Excellent relationship building skills with colleagues and suppliers Strong Excel skillsBenefits Salary up to £41,000 + Profit Share Bonus (tax benefits) Company share purchase scheme 39 hours per week (core hours 9am – 1pm) Pension – employer matches up to 5% 32 days holiday On-site roleThis is a great opportunity to join an award-winning company – Interested?
