Randolph Hill is looking for an outstanding person to join us as a Staff Nurse at our excellent home – Randolph Hill Nursing Home in Dunblane, near Stirling. Permanent full-time, part-time, or bank posts are available.

***Excellent rates of pay – from £22.62 to £24.25 per hour, with overtime at time plus 33% and career development potential***

Job Purpose:

To provide professional clinical nursing to residents, delivering strong leadership, abiding by the NMC\’s code of professional conduct, and supporting the Home Manager in the daily running of the Nursing Home.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Promote the highest standards of nursing care within the home
  • Provide a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors
  • Supervise and support junior staff through effective leadership
  • In the absence of the Home Manager, delegate daily workload, ensuring efficient use of resources
  • Set a good example in dress, manner, hygiene, and behaviour
  • Maintain accurate written records and care plans as required by the company and statutory bodies

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Ideally 12 months post-graduate experience, gained within elderly care settings, but newly qualified nurses are encouraged to apply
  • Experience working with elderly people with dementia, delivering clinical support in this area
  • Time management skills and workload prioritisation
  • Ability to advise and guide staff, residents, and relatives sensitively
  • Strong problem-solving skills within a nursing home setting
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including report writing and care planning
  • Ability to handle complex issues appropriately
