Simply Education is seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support children in a friendly and inclusive primary school in Croydon.
This is a rewarding role for someone who is patient, proactive, and committed to helping children with additional needs reach their full potential.
The Role:
Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN, including autism (ASD), ADHD, speech & language needs, and learning difficulties
Support children in KS1 and KS2 with their academic, social, and emotional development
Adapt resources and activities to meet individual needs
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored learning plans
Promote independence, confidence, and positive behaviourWhat We\’re Looking For:
Experience working with children with SEN, ideally in a primary school setting
A nurturing, patient, and adaptable approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Understanding of KS1 and KS2 learning environments is desirable
