BlueArrow is looking for reliable and experienced Chef to join our team, supporting a range of clients within HIGH QUALITY meat production /butchery.

This is a great opportunity for a highly skilled chef with a passion for the mains section, to understand the process before meat is delivered to your kitchen, vacuum-packed or processed.

You’ll assist with mass production butchery and bespoke elements like, making sausages and steak accompaniments/butters.

You must be prepared to go on site for a ‘BLOCK TEST’ to show your skill set before being accepted into a select pool of specialist chefs that are in high demand right now!

You must live LOCAL to the area or have your OWN TRANSPORT.

There is also an option to support with 7.5-ton Van Driving.

The Role:

  • Start at 5am – must be an early riser! Finished by 1/2pm

  • Deboning Pork/Lamb shoulders & Pork Belly.

  • Breaking down Chickens & French trimming.

  • Dicing Beef, Lamb & Chicken.

  • Trimming fillets of Beef.

  • Cutting up meat for mince, mincing large quantities and bagging.

  • Prepare filling for Sausages & make the Sausages with linking.

  • Support with receiving and putting away deliveries.

  • Professionals who can work as part of a team to ensure a smooth operation.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Previous experience in a meat focused environment or butchers.

  • Food Hygiene Level 2.

  • £17ph
