About our role of Caravan Park Warden….
We are looking for Caravan Park Wardens (either single or a couple) to join our growing team at Cartref Leisure.
This role will encompass all the traditional warden responsibilities and that little bit extra that comes alongside operating a popular campsite. Our role will see you supporting the day to day operation of our site and supporting our visitors to ensure they have everything they need for their stay with us. Our Warden role also involves supporting our onsite bar / coffee shop. Evening and weekend bar work will be required.

Cartref Caravan and Camping is owned by Chris and Gordon, Shropshire based business partners for over 35 years, who purchased the site in 2015.
Cartref has been a caravan and camping site since the 1970s. Year on year we have evolved the site and continue to do so to always improve the site and our visitor experience. Our site comprises of 46 fully serviced pitches, an amenities block, glamping vintage caravan, onsite bar and takeaway. Our site is open 12 months of the year (including Christmas and New Year).
The role of Park Warden will see you join our onsite team who we are incredibly proud of. We wouldn`t have an award-winning site without them!

– Welcoming touring park guests
– Answering phone calls
– Responding to emails and enquiries on other digital channels
– Greeting customers
– Bar Work
– Cleaning and resetting tables
– Site maintenance
– Cleaning duties such as toilets, showers, sanitising, sweeping floors, washing dishes, etc
What experience will you need to be successful in this role?
To be successful in this position you will need a passion for camping and caravanning alongside the ability to work as part of our team in a fast-paced environment. As a Caravan Park Warden, you will help maintain our brilliant reputation by engaging with our guests, creating a friendly, professional atmosphere whilst keeping everything in the park and surrounding facilities moving.
We are looking for candidates who will maintain our high standards of cleanliness and customer service to ensure each and every customer leaves with a positive and lasting impression of Cartref. Previous warden experience alongside general caravanning and camping experience would be desirable.
Our site has a bar. Experience in this area would be beneficial, however, training will be available. Applicants will need to be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, evenings, days and bank holidays. At the moment, Monday and Tuesday will be your days off.
