Job Description
· To produce profit and loss analysis in both extract and detailed form, for initial review by management accountants prior to distribution to senior management.
· Ensure the accurate and timely production of management accounts and KPIs.
· Prepare tax packs and stat packs for review by management.
· Maintain several departments within the central sector of the business, ensuring prepayments and accruals are posted correctly and promptly, and that the financial system is well maintained.
· Provide budget holders with accurate and timely information, working alongside them to produce annual budgets and forecasts.
· Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations to demonstrate understanding of the balance sheet and analyze movements.
· Update management reports and liaise with other financial personnel weekly.
· Assist Purchase Ledger staff with supplier invoice issues.
· Support the Group Financial Controller with ad-hoc projects.
· Perform any other duties as required by line management.
Liaise with Directors, General Managers, Operations Managers, their reports, and employees at all levels to improve compliance with management systems.
