Summary: Under the direction of the school principal, the teacher plans and provides appropriate learning experiences for students in special programs such as medical careers, global ecology, magnet, middle years IB, etc. The role involves creating a conducive environment for students\’ intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development, supervising students, monitoring and evaluating outcomes, and communicating effectively with stakeholders. The teacher will develop, select, and modify instructional plans and materials to meet diverse student needs, maintain records, and ensure proper use of equipment and facilities. Attendance at school meetings and activities outside instructional hours is required.
