As our Head of Data and Engineering, you\’ll be the strategic leader at the intersection of our data and technology initiatives. You\’ll be responsible for building, leading, and mentoring a high-performing team of data engineers and Insight analysts & business analysts a.
Your primary focus will be to design, develop, and implement scalable data architectures and engineering solutions that drive business intelligence, reduce technical complexity and drive seamless integrations.
You\’ll translate complex business needs into technical specifications, ensuring our data infrastructure is robust, secure, and future proof.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you\’ll balance technical expertise with strong people management and strategic vision, ultimately empowering our organization to leverage data as a core asset.

Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the overall data and engineering strategy, aligning with company goals and anticipating future needs.
Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, manage, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of data and engineering professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Architectural Design: Design, implement, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure data platforms, pipelines, and engineering solutions, ensuring data quality, integrity, and accessibility.
Technical Oversight: Provide technical leadership and guidance across all data and engineering projects, ensuring best practices in data governance, security, and MLOps.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with product, analytics, and other business units to understand data requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
Resource Management: Manage resources, and vendor relationships related to data and engineering initiatives.
Innovation & Research: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in data and AI, driving their adoption where beneficial.
Experience required:
Experience in business systems, systems analysis and data engineering
Experience in solution design for data initiatives migration, integration, ETL, data warehouse structures
Cloud Platforms: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with MS Azure and their data services.
Data Technologies: proficiency with a data technologies, including relational and NoSQL databases, data warehousing solutions & ETL/ELT tools.
Agile Methodologies: Experience working with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
