Job Description

Document Controller – Residential High-Rise\\n South East London\\n £35,000 – £45,000 basic\\n\\nA well-capitalised, design-led residential developer is seeking an experienced Document Controller to join a flagship high-rise residential development in South East London.\\n\\nThe business is known for delivering large-scale, high-quality residential schemes across London, working with leading consultants and contractors. This is a site-based role, requiring full-time presence on site.\\n\\nKey responsibilities include:\\n\\nTaking full ownership of the document control function on a live high-rise residential project\\nManaging drawings, specifications, RFIs, schedules, and project correspondence across all stages\\nUploading, issuing, tracking, and archiving documentation in line with project procedures\\nLiaising closely with the site team, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure accuracy and version control\\nSupporting procurement activities, including management and distribution of procurement documentation\\nEnsuring all documentation complies with internal systems and project requirements\\nExperience required:\\n\\nDemonstrable experience as a Document Controller within the construction industry\\nStrong residential and high-rise experience is essential\\nConfident using Viewpoint / Procure or similar document management systems\\nHighly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing documentation independently\\nAble to work effectively in a fast-paced, site-based environment\\nAdditional information:\\n\\nSite-based role only – no hybrid or remote working\\nSalary on offer is £35,000 – £45,000 basic, depending on experience\\nOpportunity to work on a high-profile London residential scheme with a respected developer\\nWe are looking to interview next week so if you would like to discuss this role further, please feel free to reach out to Vekshana directly.\\n\\nAldwych Consulting values diversity and promotes equality.
