MANUFACTURING SERVICE TECHNICIAN – Mechanical – 12 month contract Salary: £27.90 (inside) Location: Barnoldswick My client is a global defence and aerospace leader, and due to new business contacts they seek a Maintenance Technician to join their team on an initial 12 month contract. As a Maintenance Technician you will be doing: Perform a range of routine, reactive, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance tasks Installations, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on mechanically bias machines Ability to perform alignment and geometry checks Utilise hand tools and test equipment to deliver customer requirements. Coordinate workload and mechanical activities with customers Work with site Manufacturing Engineers to help understand and restore equipment Work to control standards and procedures Experience and skillset – Maintenance Technician MUST HAVE completed an advanced modern engineering apprenticeship and an NVQ/SVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent qualification. Good understanding of Maintenance operations and fault finding Basic IT literacy and ability to work to engineering drawings.
