We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Islington. In this rewarding role, you will provide support to a diverse range of clients, including ex-offenders, individuals with mental health challenges, and others in need of housing and independence support.

Job Title: Support Worker
Location: Islington
Working Hours: 35 hours per week / ad hoc shift based

You will assist clients in achieving stable housing and independence through person-centred support, property management, and collaboration with partner agencies to ensure successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide weekly support and life skills assistance to service users, including ex-offenders and individuals with mental health challenges, helping them to gain independence and stability.
  • Manage 3-4 properties, ensuring they meet required standards of maintenance and are safe for clients.
  • Assist with move-on planning and collaborate with relevant agencies to ensure successful outcomes for clients.
  • Occasionally work Saturdays, with a day off on Monday.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, working with diverse client groups.
  • Enhanced Child + Adult DBS and HMPPS clearance (or ability to obtain).
  • Valid Driver\’s License and a business insurance.
