Due to internal progression, Howdens are looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join us within Panel Production at our manufacturing site in Howden, East Yorkshire on a permanent basis. Pay rate and shift pattern: £39,900pa plus shift allowance and monthly production bonus Rotating Days & Nights: Monday – Wednesday 5:45am – 4:15pm / Thursday 5:45am – 3:45pm Monday – Wednesday 4:00pm – 2:30am / Thursday 3:30am – 1:30am What you\’ll be doing: Performing machine pre use safety checks. Setting up the machine/process in accordance with the specific SOP Monitoring of the machine during production Producing confirmations on MES Performing detailed process quality checks in accordance with the area SOP Changing tooling and performing minor adjustments to the agreed housekeeping standards Forklift duties are part of the main tasks on the line and are carried out on a rotation system on each of the shifts What we\’re looking for: Production and / or manufacturing experience working in a fast-paced factory environment. Ability to read and understand manual handling risk assessments and SOPs.
