Position: Pipe Fitter Job ID: 936/247 Location: Portsmouth Rate/Salary: £25.77 (mon to fri) Local Rate. £35.70 (mon to fri) Non-Local Rate. The below job description will outline this position of: Pipe Fitter: We are looking for a Pipe Fitter for one of our maritime clients. Typically, this person will be installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems HSB Technical’s client is a very established and well-regarded business entity. Duties and responsibilities of the Pipe Fitter: •             Using hand and machine tools to cut, drill and bend stainless steel components. •             Fabricating bespoke parts. •             Assembly of finished parts. •             Use of oxyacetylene for cutting/burning Qualifications and requirement for the Pipe Fitter: •             Must have a NVQ L3 or equivalent Apprenticeship in their field •             Candidates will have a Marine/ Shipbuilding / Ship repair background. •             Candidates must be Eligible for SC clearance, candidates who already hold this would be at an advantage.
