Our Digital / Ecommerce team is the core of our mamasandpapas.com website and the newly launched Mamas & Papas App. They are responsible for providing accessible, award-winning nursery and baby products and services, ensuring a seamless online shopping experience for our customers at every stage of their parenting journey.
We are growing both in the UK and internationally, and are seeking an Online Trading Manager to join our innovative Digital Department. This role focuses on maximizing online sales, conversion rates, and profit across our websites and app, by executing our retail trade calendar effectively and ensuring our online buying experience is customer-focused, commercial, and best-in-class.
The key responsibilities include:
- Owning and driving core KPIs such as CVR, Bounce Rate, AOV, Exit Rates, and Traffic, and communicating performance to the wider business while implementing improvements.
- Supporting the business in targeting year-over-year sales and profit growth.
- Managing on-site product availability and lifecycle in collaboration with buying and merchandising teams.
- Monitoring the ecommerce landscape and competitors to identify trends and growth opportunities.
- Planning and optimizing online merchandising around marketing campaigns, promotions, seasonality, and external factors to maximize sales and profitability.
- Using analytics and reporting tools to understand the customer journey, optimize sales, and define strategies.
- Keeping the website updated with offers, banners, new products, and category updates to drive sales.
- Driving the commercial performance of the Mamas & Papas app.
- Supporting and growing international sales through partner websites.
- Inspiring, developing, and managing a small team within online trade and content.
