Locum Band 7 Nuclear Medicine Technologist – West Midlands – Full-Time We are currently supporting an NHS hospital in the West Midlands in their search for a Locum Band 7 Nuclear Medicine Technologist . This is a full-time position , ideal for an experienced and adaptable professional looking to take on a rewarding role in a busy and well-equipped department. Role Summary: Position: Locum Nuclear Medicine Technologist Band: 7 Location: West Midlands Start: ASAP Duration: Ongoing contract Hours: Full-time Rate: Competitive Band 7 Locum Rates ✅ Essential Requirements: Extensive experience in Nuclear Medicine , including imaging and non-imaging procedures. Ability to work with specialist, high-tech equipment , adapting protocols when necessary. Demonstrated experience working within an NHS Nuclear Medicine department . Sound knowledge of radiation safety , protection principles, and decontamination procedures. Familiarity with UK legislation including: IRR17 , IR(ME)R17 , Environmental Permitting Regulations , and ARSAC guidelines . Proficient in: Performing and analysing a wide range of diagnostic procedures. Administering radiopharmaceuticals intravenously . Using complex imaging systems and software.
