Job Description

Trainee Removals Branch Manager – Nottingham

Alchemy is working with a leading UK removals company to recruit a Trainee Removals Branch Manager in Nottingham. This is an exciting entry-level opportunity in the domestic, international and commercial relocation industry. The role offers full training and fast-track career progression within a busy operational branch environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Shadow and support the Branch Manager in day-to-day operations
  • Learn to manage branch profitability and cost control
  • Assist in sales development for domestic, international, storage, and O&I relocations
  • Coordinate quotes, bookings, and job scheduling
  • Help manage logistics, vehicles and staff deployment
  • Ensure high-quality customer service and complaint resolution
  • Support personnel management, including training and shift planning
  • Monitor inventory, warehouse and storage operations
  • Help implement health & safety procedures on removal sites
  • Collect operational metrics and assist with performance reporting
  • Liaise with suppliers, vendors and industry partners
  • Contribute to process improvements and initiatives
