What you'll be doing Low Risk Preparation Operative (Pasta Cook) 4on 4off 07:00-19:00 Pay Rate: – £12.42 We are currently looking for Low Risk Prep Ops to work in our Greencore factory in Wisbech (PE13 2RD). We are looking for individuals who relish the opportunity to work as part of a team in a factory environment. Our environments can be busy, cold and wet, but your safety comes first, and all personal protective equipment will be provided. Your main accountabilities will include: * To ensure that procedures and protocols are followed to maintain the Food Safety, legality and quality of products manufactured. * You will be responsible for the pasta cookers Cook, quench and chill, you are also responsible for completing the documentation, following the procedures and operational processes for the Low-Risk Pasta Machines: * Ensure that the correct waste procedure is being followed * Ensure that programmes are followed * Follow all technical standards for the kettle area including CCP and allergen control * Ensure all pasta plans are correct at the start of the shift and check material shorts * Start-up sheets to be completed before start of cooking * To ensure that completion and adherence to plan is followed To ensure that effective communication takes place within the area in particular: The QA Team – highlighting any issues The High-Risk prep team Pasta decanter T/O and Area Leader of Low/High RiskTo operate in a flexible manner, responding to changing circumstances/scenarios and being able to think alone in challenging times. Ensure food safety and quality: * Ensure that you are working to the `right first time` ethos * Ensure all materials are of the proper quality and in life * 100% CCP checks complete and the completion of all relevant paperwork * 100% traceability * Allergen control procedure needs to be followed ensuring that you are separating allergens and keeping spills to a minimum. Responsible for GMP within the area ensuring that our surrounding areas are always clean and tidy. Ensure that kettles are cleaned between sauces correctly and especially between allergens.
