Mechanical Testing Engineer – Automotive – Sweden. Contractor basis or Freelancer. Our Automotive client based in Sweden require a Mechanical Test Engineer. for both onsite and remote work activity (hybrid)  from Sweden, near Stockholm. Job Description: Do you have experience in mechanical testing and an interest in heavy vehicles? We are looking for a Mechanical Testing Engineer for an exciting assignment. You will work with testing and verification of mechanical systems, with a focus on collecting, analysing and evaluating test data. You will: -Plan and conduct mechanical tests at the component and system level. -Work with measurement collection and analysis tools to evaluate test results. -Document and report results and provide technical recommendations. -Collaborate with other engineers to develop and improve test methods. We are looking for someone who has: Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. At least 2 years of experience in mechanical testing. Knowledge of measurement collection and analysis programs (e.g. LabVIEW, DEWESoft, MATLAB). General understanding of heavy vehicles. Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written (Swedish is an asset). Practical mechanical skills are an advantage. Full-time. Hybrid, approx. 75% On-site all from Sweden. This is a contract hire role. Candidates must be willing to live and work in Sweden. Candidates holding the current rights to live and work in Sweden are highly desirable
