Transport Planner Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week (flexible working required to meet the needs of a demanding client). Work place: Park Royal Salary: £30,000 plus commission Company Car: Available Reports to: Contract Manager Scope: To provide client support with booking & managing flexible worker resource across those sites aligned to their area. Key Responsibilities: > Deliver the highest levels of operational support to all the sites aligned to the sites the branch resources. This should include but not be limited to: > Operational fulfilment ensuring all bookings are made in a timely manner in line with our service level agreement > Support the contract manager with forward planning >Maintain close working relationships with all driving staff across each location using the tools available > Deliver 100% compliance against all recruitment vetting standards at all times > Maintaining best practice as outlined by the business. > Ensure all minimum standards associated with our booking & management process are maintained > Ensure the correct onboarding process is always followed. > Manage and maintain all systems i.e., online portal, Job Matching and Joined Up > Ensure support for the Manager to deliver 100% compliance audit rating. > Support with effective roll out of any new internal initiatives/projects. > Provide initial point of contact for any and all HR related matters and communicate with all concerned in a timely manner. > Support Onsite colleagues with day-to-day worker issues around pay, holiday, sickness, attendance etc. > Ensure all personal objectives are met. > Escalate to contract manager, in a timely manner, any known operational issues that might involve the senior RMG/Pertemps management. > To maintain the highest levels of communication both written and oral with the client, the flexible workers and within the Pertemps management team. > Ensure that all relevant payroll deadlines are met at all locations, managing the flow of information between the client and our internal departments. Key behavioural skills: > To possess good levels of business acumen including oral/written business communication skills to a high standard. > To display a strong approach to managing the various sites identifying opportunities for the contract manager to improve process, recruitment, financial and operational performance to the benefit of the Pertemps contract. > To evidence capability for making sound/confident decisions on behalf of the client and Pertemps. > To evidence a calm, encouraging and enthusiastic character when managing complex and sensitive internal and external communications. > To meet and exceed all tasks and functions without management reminder
