Trainer Delivery Operations (manual handling, customer service, driver coaching)

Role: Full Time, 40 hours, Permanent
Location: Nottingham | Supporting across multiple sites

At Ocado Logistics, we are looking for a Delivery Operations Trainer to support our site operations by helping our drivers and delivery colleagues reach new heights in safety, service, and performance.

What Youll Be Doing

As a key part of the delivery operations team, youll shape the Ocado customer experience through impactful site based training and development.

You Will

  • Deliver training to new and existing staff on customer service, food safety, manual handling, and safe systems of work
  • Provide both practical and theory-based driver coaching to improve risk awareness, driving skills, and promote a positive driving mindset
  • Offer constructive feedback and track trainee progress. Keep training records accurate, complete, and audit-ready
  • Be responsible for delivering the full suite of training required at the site, including Site Marshal training

We’re also looking for someone who’s keen to grow and develop particularly in delivering compliance-based courses such as Food Safety and Health & Safety, as needed.

  • A clean record
  • DVSA Approved Driving Instructor status (Fleet registered is a bonus)
  • No live sanctions
  • No MVIR in the last 12 months
  • No more than 3 points on your driving licence
  • Confidence to work independently and as part of a specialist team
  • A flexible approach to delivering training at various locations
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Suite, PowerPoint, and UK traffic regulations
  • Ability to deliver clear, honest feedback to help others grow
