Our client is seeking an experienced Secratary / PA for this thriving Chartered Accountants. Duties include:- Taking client calls and dealing with requests as appropriate Taking messages Phone calls with clients and all other third parties i.e. HMRC etc Arranging/booking meetings Letter writing (various) Raising fees Posting fees on CCH Updating various systems/checklists Assigning work Keeping track of jobs coming in / completed jobs going out Organising and prioritising own workload, as well as the directors and assisting the tax manager as and when required Liaising with HMRC/Banks/CronerTaxwise/clients/staff members/directors etc Printing/Scanning Handling, dealing with post and confidential information Binding accounts Face to face client contact (as and when applicable) Filing and keeping files up to date Running reports (various) Signable (digital e-signing programme) Dealing with new client setup procedures – engagement letters and anti-money laundering requests Dealing with invoice queries D&B Reports HMRC Tax Year Overviews Company Secretarial work on Digita and preparing the appropriate forms Updating and running reports from Digita Creating/generating Confirmation Statements/PSC registers Filing forms and updating details at Companies House Company formations IRIS reports – accounts, corporation tax returns, trial balances etc Filing tax returns on IRIS Essential knowledge of the follow: Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel Microsoft Outlook Microsoft Database Microsoft Powerpoint Desirable knowledge of the following but not essential: CCH / IRIS / Digita / Signable (digital e-signing programme) Must: The individual must be hardworking, reliable, friendly and have excellent communication and organisation skills. Exceptional typing skills and competence with using common office systems and software. They must have the capability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and have an eye for attention to detail.
