DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking an LGV C+E (HGV Class 1) driver to play a vital role in our distribution service.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
- Work pattern – Monday to Friday covering start times between 05:00-08:00
- Curtain sided trailer deliveries of palletised products to a variety of customers
- Can be asked to drive LGV Cat C vehicles as required
- Can be morning run returning to base and second afternoon run
- Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers\’ Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
- You will hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Must have a minimum of 12 months commercial \’on the road\’ HGV Class 1 driving experience
- Must be flexible to drive different classes of vehicle as and when required as well as returning to base and then completing second runs
- A \’can do\’ attitude and be a team player
- Live locally to Rugby CV21 1QN
