Business Development Account Manager \\n\\n Northampton\\n\\n £24,000 – £30,000 – Depending on Experience \\n\\nOur market leading client within the construction and build sector are currently seeking a Business Development Account Manager to join their growing business. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to develop a career within sales, account management and service.\\n\\n On a daily basis, the successful candidate will take ownership of a portfolio of existing customers to conduct, report and deliver on their specific projects. This will involve speaking with prospective clients, completing marketing and telephone-based tasks as well as administrative duties, while continuously building positive client relationships.

Please note, although this is a telephone-based role, this is not a call-centre based role and does not involve high targets or high call volumes. \\n\\n Please note, our client will consider entry level candidates and individuals from a different employment background as they offer extensive training and development opportunities.\\n\\n Due to location, it is a necessity that any applicants drive and have access to their own vehicle. \\n\\n Key Duties:\\n\\nTo professionally, effectively & efficiently deliver our service on behalf of the client(s) in accordance with the project brief and the subsequent strategy agreed on a telephone basis.\\nTo develop and maintain a complete understanding of client's background, products & services, target market sectors, competition, culture & values and internal structure.\\nDevelop and nurture a professional relationship with the client(s)\\nComplete accurate administration duties ensuring all information is inputted and organised as required.\\nTo complete quality outbound calls to specific prospects on behalf of clients with a view to identifying or creating new business opportunities (this is all Business to Business) and arranging meetings between our clients and the prospect to discuss the opportunity in more detail. \\nWorking from our best-in-class database and data.\\nAssisting with the preparation of and attending review meetings with the client Ongoing development of telephone sales and other business development related skills. \\n\\n Required Skills & Experience \\n\\nAlthough there is no set experience required for this role, our client is seeking an individual with a genuine interest in learning and developing within a telephone-based role, with a strong business acumen and positive work ethic.\\nPrior customer service experience is preferred but not essential.\\nIT Literacy with the ability to complete a short typing test based on speed and accuracy.\\nA successful candidate with have a strong work ethic and desire to learn and develop within sales.\\nExperience within sales is not essential, however, experience within a customer service role is desired.\\nPlease note, due to location, it is a must that you can drive with access to your own vehicle. \\n\\n The Offering:\\n\\nMonday – Friday – 08:50 – 17:30\\n2-week Christmas closure\\nOpportunity to increase earnings based on performance\\nBespoke training plan\\nFriendly working environment\\nExtensive progression and development opportunities\\nRegular team building events \\n\\n If you believe you are a perfect candidate for this role and wish to discuss the details in more depth, please get in touch today!\\n\\n Gabriella Saunders – (url removed)
