About the role Every summer Buckingham Palace opens its doors to the public from July to early October, offering a unique opportunity for visitors from around the world to experience this iconic Royal residence. By joining our Visitor Services team as a Summer Visitor Services Assistant you will help to create memorable moments for thousands of visitors. Key Responsibilities: * Together with the year-round Visitor Services team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the visitors\’ experiences during the busiest months, helping them enjoy the exhibitions, Palaces and works of art from the Royal Collection. * After an extensive training period, you will be ready to share your knowledge of the Royal Collection and Buckingham Palace with confidence and clarity. * Occupying a number of posts along the visitor route, both indoors and outdoors, you’ll ensure every visitor has an exceptional experience from welcome to goodbye. * Whether it is greeting visitors on arrival, carrying out security checks, handing out Multimedia Guides, or answering questions in the State Rooms, you create the kind of exceptional customer experience that leaves a lasting and positive impression. While the role can be physically demanding, we are committed to considering the requirements of the position and exploring potential adjustments to accommodate any disabilities.
