Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a reputable Public Sector organisation who are looking to identify a Tax Accountant to strengthen their Finance Team, on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to add value, in a role that offers hybrid and flexible working.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, the key responsibilities include;
- Leading on the submission of tax submissions and tax compliance for the organisation
- Providing expert tax advice to key stakeholders across the organisation
- Reviewing and implementing robust financial controls
- Leading tax efficiency reviews
- Liaising with senior stakeholder to produce accurate budgets and ensure that financial risk is understood
- Assisting in the training of budget holders on financial matters
- Leading and developing junior members of staff
The person;
- Qualified Accountant with a strong technical skillset
- Updated knowledge of tax legislation
- Ability to build relationships with non-Finance
