Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a reputable Public Sector organisation who are looking to identify a Tax Accountant to strengthen their Finance Team, on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to add value, in a role that offers hybrid and flexible working.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the key responsibilities include;

  • Leading on the submission of tax submissions and tax compliance for the organisation
  • Providing expert tax advice to key stakeholders across the organisation
  • Reviewing and implementing robust financial controls
  • Leading tax efficiency reviews
  • Liaising with senior stakeholder to produce accurate budgets and ensure that financial risk is understood
  • Assisting in the training of budget holders on financial matters
  • Leading and developing junior members of staff

The person;

  • Qualified Accountant with a strong technical skillset
  • Updated knowledge of tax legislation
  • Ability to build relationships with non-Finance
