As part of our commitment to innovation and digital transformation, we’re recruiting an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Officer to join the Digital Innovation Team at Westmorland and Furness Council.
AI is a key priority nationally and locally. We are developing a program to explore, implement, and scale AI solutions to improve services and outcomes for our communities.
As an AI Officer, you will support the delivery of our AI Program by coordinating activities, assisting with pilot projects, and shaping AI use across the organization. You will collaborate with stakeholders from all Directorates to ensure alignment with service needs and organizational goals.
This role offers a unique chance to turn emerging technologies into practical improvements for residents, contributing to our Customer Strategy and Digital Ambition.
