We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our Building Design team in London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering and a passion for creating innovative and sustainable building designs. As a Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and construction of various building projects, ensuring their structural integrity and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects and other engineers to design and develop structural systems for new building projects
- Conduct structural analysis and calculations to ensure that designs meet safety and building code requirements
- Prepare detailed construction drawings, specifications, and reports for building structures
- Review and approve construction plans and provide on-site support during the construction phase
- Utilize software and tools to model and simulate structural designs for performance evaluation
- Stay updated with the latest industry standards, codes, and regulations related to structural engineering
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor\’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master\’s degree is a plus
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
- Proven experience in structural design and analysis for building projects
- Proficiency in structural engineering software such as ETABS, SAP2000, or STAAD.Pro
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
