We are recruiting multipleClass 2 Refuse Driversto join a dedicated waste and recycling team based inKingsbridge, South Devon. The job is a physically active role collecting domestic waste from residential properties. This position offers a great opportunity for drivers who are seeking consistent work and have the potential to transition into a permanent role.

Kingsbridge, Devon (commutable from South Brent,Totnes,Paignton, Plymouth, and surrounding areas)
Salary
£17.37 to £26.06 per hour (PAYEAdvanced), with other pay methods also available
Key Responsibilities

Drive a Class 2 (Cat C) vehicle safely and efficiently on residential collection routes

Assist in the loading and unloading of refuse and recycling materials

Communicate with the depot team to receive daily route updates

Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance needs

Adhere to all health and safety protocols
Qualifications
Essential:

Valid Category C (Class 2) driving licence

FullCPCand digital tachograph cards
-
No more than 6 points on licence (strictly no DR, DD, or IN endorsements)

Physically fit and able to lift/carry bins and recycling containers

Access to your own transport to travel to the depot

A mobile phone to receive route and scheduling updates

Previous experience in refuse collection ormulti-drop driving
