What you\’ll do
As a Category Manager, you will be the category owner and primary point of contact for internal teams, partners, and customers across EMEA. You will drive the commercial performance of your product portfolio, managing the entire product lifecycle from concept and introduction through end-of-life. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Global Product Management, and Marketing teams across regions to convert opportunities into revenue and deliver compelling, consumer-focused product propositions.
How you\’ll do it
- Commercial Leadership: Own the product category P&L including pricing, promotions, and profitability strategies. Collaborate with regional Sales teams to identify and convert opportunities into revenue.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the full product lifecycle, from market opportunity identification and NPI (New Product Introduction) through to end-of-life (EOL). Optimise the product portfolio based on performance, market trends, and strategic priorities.
- Product Strategy & Roadmaps: Define and execute category-specific product, channel, and go-to-market strategies. Maintain a regional product roadmap that reflects market needs, competitive dynamics, and business objectives.
- Market Insights & Competitive Intelligence: Gather and analyse market data, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback. Translate insights into actionable recommendations for sales teams and senior leadership.
- Go-to-Market Execution: Lead product launches across EMEA, ensuring timely market readiness. Deliver best-in-class sales tools, training content, and product collateral in partnership with Channel Marketing.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the key liaison between EMEA and the Global Product Management team. Present regional updates and insights during regular business reviews (monthly/quarterly).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Planning, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure availability, optimal inventory levels, and localised marketing execution.
- Process Optimisation: Support the Senior Product Manager / Head of Product Management in implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and commercial outcomes.
What you\’ll need
- Product Management experience in a comparable commercial role within Consumer Electronics or IT is a strong plus.
- Strong business acumen and commercial awareness with a track record of delivering category growth.
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders across regions.
- Experience presenting to retail customers and internal senior leadership.
- A proactive, results-driven mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other standard business tools.
- Bachelor\’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
