Become the lead / head Binder Technician at this perfect sized Insurance Lloyd\’s Broker in London

Quite the statement, but it\’s true

An already well-established Marine and Specialty Insurance Broker with an excellent reputation, steeped in history which will provide you with strong job security.

And a firm who have received significant investment from it\’s parent company and are looking to grow extensively over the next few years, meaning you\’ll become an instrumental part of it\’s transition from carrying out European, UK and Australian Third Party binding authorities/in-house binders to looking at multi-lines on a global basis.

Very much a role which will become more senior and open up new doors/opportunities as you progress.

Here, you\’ll step up into a role where you can bring your ideas to the table and work with the senior leadership team to grow into new territories.

Day to day, what will you do?

  • As an integral part of the team, you will provide guidance and support to your peers in relation to Delegated authority business, assisting in the management of all internal and third party binding authorities and prepare new and renewal contracts.
  • Initially you\’ll have more involved in carrying out Marine Delegated Authority business which will include Marine Hull, Marine War and Marine Trade, however you will soon have exposure to wider commercial classes as the broker expands.
  • You\’ll have the opportunity to manage of the Lloyd\’s DDM / DCOM system in line with monthly requirements on all Lineslips and binding authorities for this Broker\’s London and European operations
  • What can you expect from an offer?

  • Depending on your skills/current expertise, on offer is a base salary between £65k – £k with hybrid home working flexibility, 25 days holiday (plus birthday) and 5% pension contribution.
  • What do you have to offer?

  • We are looking to talk to individuals with cross-class experience in the insurance sector, preferably as a Binders Technician / Delegated Authority Technician.
  • You\’ll be someone who likes to put ideas across and like to have more involved in business strategies.
  • You\’ll be familiar with Whitespace, PPL and DCOM and have a general interest in the emergence of technologies
