Swale Academies Trust is seeking an organised and proactive Clerk to provide high-quality administrative and governance support to the Local Governing Bodies (LGBs). This is a vital role ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, Trust policies, and effective school governance.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Organise and coordinate LGB meetings, including preparing agendas, papers, and accurate minutes.
  • Maintain governance records, including governor details, attendance, and training logs.
  • Provide procedural advice and ensure adherence to statutory and Trust requirements.
  • Support governor onboarding and communication with key stakeholders.
  • Assist with exclusion panels and disciplinary meetings as required.
