The opportunity: Global Talent 2020 are proudly working with a brilliant independent Coffee Shop in Edinburgh to hire a Coffee Shop Manager to come on board and drive the business. It's an extremely popular shop with a very loyal customer base and has been growing steadily for the past 4 years. They sell delicious coffee, cakes, hot food and merchandise. You will be responsible for managing the day to day operations, growing the presence on social media, and through outbound activity, networking, etc. This is a very open role and would suit an ambitious individual with an entrepreneurial spirit. There may be a second unit coming in 2025 and the chance to be part of the opening and setting up a new business. Barista experience/qualifications is crucial along with customer service experience and an outgoing personality. 07:00-15:00 shift pattern which leads to a great work life balance. This is a flexible role and there are full time hours 35+ and part time hours 25+ available depending on your situation. The role: Global Talent 2020’s client will require the Coffee Shop Manager to support the business in helping to manage the team across the site which you will be responsible for hiring. You will be responsible for managing the team to deliver the high standard of service and operations. This popular coffee brand will need an individual who can drive the standards and consistency of the product and service. You will need to be very customer facing, and lead by empowering your team and creating a memorable customer journey. You must possess an eye for detail, and have sound commercial nous, bar management, stock ordering processes and expenditure controls as well as being a reliable and resilient leader. You will manage the staff across all areas as required. Great understanding of health & safety, training, and development of others, as well as possessing first class communication skills are pre-requisites for this diverse and fast paced role with our ambitious growing client.
