A Teaching Assistant is needed for an secondary school in the South Tyneside area. This full time role is to start on 3rd February 2025 until 11th April 2025. This lovely school is mixed sex and has supportive and friendly staff and managers. The ideal Teaching Assistant candidate would: * Have a passion supporting the teaching of children with a variety of SEND needs including Autism and some cognitive issues * Have excellent subject knowledge * Be able to organise themselves * Be able to engage with children in a proactive way In addition, you must: • Provide two referees we can contact • Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one Please note that the rate of pay will be dependant on level of experience and qualifications achieved.
