This position sits in our Global Travel Retail business. As a Finance and Compliance analyst, you will be part of our Financial Control team. Our mission is to ensure the effectiveness of Internal Control, prepare GTR HQ financials, and deliver Cash insights providing financial visibility and supporting decision-making.
You will have 3 main areas of responsibility:
Financial reporting :
-Perform the monthly closing process including detailed analysis and preparation of the presentation pack with appendices and comments
– Work closely with finance and non-finance departments to ensure accuracy of the financial records
– Support accounting team to continue improving and streamlining processes
– Prepare quarterly forecasts including liaising with all necessary teams to obtain relevant information
-Managing and coordinating quarterly intercompany recharges
Internal Control/Audit :
-Assist the Finance Manager driving the GTR internal audit roadmap and prepare updates for Audit & Risk committee.
– Coordinate and perform annual and ad hoc internal audit reviews
– Monitor Internal Control compliance within GTR affiliates, identify weaknesses and develop remediation plans
Cash monitoring and forecasting :
-Prepare and analyse cash reporting and forecasting for GTR HQ
-Assist Finance Manager with preparing Global GTR cash budget presentation and updates to management
-Consolidate monthly Working Capital submissions including liaising with affiliates as required
Internally, you’ll work with Finance and non-finance departments across affiliates
This position could be right for you if you have:
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent (CIMA or equivalent is a plus)
- Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals
- Relevant experience in financial analysis
- Audit experience
- Strong knowledge and palatability for Excel
- Experience in cash management is a plus
- Power BI or other visualization tools experience is a plus
