Introduction
As we continue to reshape our future, we’re looking for HR Business Partners (PO4) to join our journey of transformation where your expertise and dedication can make a real impact across the Council.
These roles are pivotal to delivering expert, high-quality human resources support across our directorates. It’s a chance to take ownership, offer trusted guidance, and strengthen the link between HR and operational excellence.
What’s the role?
HR Business Partners will deliver a comprehensive, value-added HR service to Council directorates, providing expert advice on employment legislation and Council policies, helping to safeguard the organisation against risk and reputational harm.
They will champion a collaborative and customer-focused approach, supporting directorates to achieve their goals with confidence and clarity and also take the lead on operational aspects of employee relations—including casework, complex issues and day-to-day support—ensuring delivery is consistent, professional and solutions-oriented.

Location
The job is primarily based in Laurence House, SE6 4RU, but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office, for a minimum of two days a week, and from home on a regular basis.

Salary
ÂŁ50,646 to ÂŁ52,674 per annum (PO4)
N.B: All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale), which is subject to evidential proof.
