Sous Chef required for our client, a restaurant with wedding / function / events space located in the Croydon area. (The role might also suit a Head Chef looking to work now as a Sous Chef)
As Sous Chef the ideal candidate for this role will have previous restaurant and banqueting experience. You will have a passion and enthusiasm in your work. This role will require that you work week-ends. Monday and Tuesday the restaurant is closed. Bank holidays, they are sometimes open if a function is booked.
The role of Sous Chef will require you to assist and support the Head Chef with the smooth delivery of service to maintain standards and reputation. This is a hands-on role using fresh produce and requires good kitchen management to include health and safety / cost control etc.
The salary for this opportunity of Sous Chef is given as up competitive / basic salary plus a share of the service charge.
