We’re looking for a proactive, customer-focused Operational Buyer (NPR) for a 9-month period (possible extension).You will be responsible for timely procurement of materials and services within GKN Fokker Aerospace Landing Gear, reporting to the Procurement Operations Manager.Key responsibilities include ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods and services at the right price-quality ratio, supplier management, continuous improvement, and effective stakeholder communication. The role requires pragmatic decision-making, leadership, and tactical problem-solving skills.Landing Gear, part of GKN Fokker Aerospace, specializes in design, development, production, and overhaul of landing gear systems for aircraft and helicopters, including the Apache, F-35, Dash 8 Q400, and NH90.What you\’ll bringA minimum of a Bachelor\’s degree (HBO level) in Procurement or Supply Chain Management.At least 5 years of relevant purchasing experience.Experience with indirect spend procurement and Material Requirements Planning (MRP).Ability to build supplier relationships and understand supplier processes.Proficiency in Excel and other software applications.Fluent in Dutch and English.Key competencies: analytical skills, decisiveness, customer focus, environmental awareness, pragmatic mindset, stress resistance, organizational sensitivity.Residence near Papendrecht, NL.What we\’ll offerWe provide a career path with global challenges and opportunities.
